Today was about self care and being kind to myself. Grief or deep loss of any kind brings on a vulnerability and sadness. I don't want to avoid this pain by keeping busy or trying to push it away.... I know that won't help me or those I love so I have decided I need to accept this pain and just go with it, I know it's not permanent pain and it will come and go and get lighter as time goes on. My doctor told me today that to honour my dad and my love for him was to cry for him so that's what I'll do if I feel the need to. I finished my afternoon off with an amazing massage @angeliquedayspa fabulous Gina gave me the care I needed today, thank you ❤️ .
