Part of the crew that brought 411 to you over the years. Amazing to skate and hang with so many people that made the videos happen behind and in front of the lens, last night was awesome! Missed the rest of the gang that couldn't be there. Thank you @berrics for the session and @pizzanista for the grub. Extra special thanks to @kevinwstrick for organizing the 21 year reunion and making it happen! 📷 @nextupfound The tl;dr for below: #thankyouskateboarding 21 years ago I was in an edit bay drinking way too much Dr. Pepper wrapping up the first issue of #411vm on a rudimentary digital editing system called Video F/X. We knew we had a good idea, but we didn't know if it would work so we just put our heads down and went for it. Hard work, laughter, tears, joy, stress, talented humans, friends for life and more lessons learned than any school you could ever attend, 411 was all this and more with skateboarding as the heart that drove us ever forward. It was a team effort in every sense of the word. Without the skateboarders busting, the filmers in the streets, the editors in the caves, the music clearance, sales people, admin, dupers, distributors around the world, skateshops and most importantly the skateboarders that subscribed, bought, copied and stole our videos none of what we did would have been possible. From the beginning our goal was to give people who loved skateboarding a connection to it that they couldn't get anywhere else. Thanks to social media I get to hear from people around the world that we accomplished that goal with every video we released. Each issue was someone's first exposure to skateboarding and it changed their life the same way Future Primitive changed mine. What more could you want in life than the chance to share what you love with people everywhere? Thank you from the bottom of my heart to every single person who made the 411 dream a reality and #thankyouskateboarding 🙏✌️& ❤️
