Tonight's feature was collected by our contributor, Wilma @wilmawells72. #MobileArtistry is creative edits, beautiful images, unique perspectives, stellar shots, and happy accidents. IE, stuff you won't find on the pop page. Through this ongoing project we hope to expose people to art and artists they may not normally get to see, learn about one another's process, and encourage each other to push the limits of creativity. For the fastest reply, direct your questions to our admins, @computerjones, @momma2maxh & @yifatash. Thank you. Tonight's submission is from Lana, aka @crudethings, let's hear about her process. Hi all you wonderful artists here on MobileArtistry!!! Ok let's see... I started off taking my selfies with the Hipstamatic Camera. Next I took 2 photos I liked and put them next to each other in PicFrame app. I opened my StripeCm app and played with the positioning of the stripes next. Once I got the stripes the way I liked I opened this photo up in the Mextures App to add some gritty texture overlays(in the Emulsion section) and saved this to my camera roll. I re-opened this new edited photo again in Mextures App so i could go to the Formulas section to play some more, I added the Tin Type over it and the last step here was to go back to the adjustments section and play with the contrast, fade, and shadows. Saved this to my camera roll once again and because of the long shape of this photo i had to turn my iphone sideways and take a screen shot so it would fit in the Instagram square. :) thanks Mobielartistry for this feature!!!

For the fastest reply, direct your questions to our admins, @computerjones, @momma2maxh & @yifatash. Thank you. Tonight's submission is from Chris, aka @cluster0ne, let's hear about his process. Firstly, I'd like to thank Wilma for giving me the opportunity to share my image, and Mobile Artistry for giving me the gallery space beside all the other wonderful works. Very much appreciated. I hadn't taken any shots lately, but enjoy editing so much I was searching my archive for inspiration.. this tree pic which I had previously edited to try and make look like something from one of my fav films 300, was singing to me that it needed a kind of midnight look to it.. as much as I'm happy with the original edit, into Stackables App it went.. as always when I'm editing there is zero method as to how I achieve my vision, it's always a one-off edit, and I have no real tech knowledge of what I'm doing but seem to usually get there in the end.. It can take a while, but I love the process. Apologies for not being able to explain my process as I truly would not be able to say exactly what layers I used and why I used them. It all just kind of flows until I'm satisfied with the results. I checked my saved formula in Stackables, there is 35 layers so maybe best not to list them all. I am however always happy to share my formulas. On this pic I also used Mextures for the first time, but it was minimal just to adjust the colour slightly, which I could have done in Stackables but was just playing with apps. Thanks for viewing my image, I'm happy if you liked any aspect of it.

I would like to thank Will and MobileArtistry for selecting my image to be feature in this great community. For this image i used 3 different apps, Snapseed, Union and Mextures. I also used 2 different images for this process. A portrait image and landscape image from my camera roll. First of all, I took this lovely portrait of my friend and tune the image with Snapseed App. I wanted the background to be white and clear so it will be easier for me to blended it with my second image. Next, I used Union App to blend this 2 images. I took the first image which is the portrait as a background image, and then i took the landscape image as a foreground image. After that, I adjusted the position of the image to be perfectly blended together. Lastly, I used Mextures App to add textures and gradients for this lovely image. So there you have it! Thank you for this opportunity!!

I want to thank Wilma and everyone who keeps the #mobileartistry group going! It's such an honor to be selected for a feature by this group. The images here are amazing as is the generosity of the IG artists who share their processes. This image was taken on a walk around my new neighborhood in State College, Pa - an early hit of Fall color - and edited in the app Stackables for IPad. I'm new to this app but have fallen in love with it. I used the following custom formulas to build the image; Mystic Forest, Spring Bloom, and a touch of Sienna. I believe I saved the image between each layer, if I didn't I should have! I then added a custom formula overlay called Better Days (by clicking on the filter button with the star on it at the bottom of the screen) which I love! I'm not sure how to thank the users who create these amazing formulas - that's the next learning curve for me with this app... Creating and sharing custom formulas. The app doesn't label the buttons so it can be confusing when you begin exploring all the options but combo_apps (Tina Rice) has the best tutorial on her web site and you can't go wrong by spending a few minutes with it as you play with Stackables. The editing options with this app are endless - Enjoy!

For the fastest reply, direct your questions to our admins, @computerjones, @momma2maxh & @yifatash. Thank you. Tonight's submission is from Cat, aka @bodneyboo, let's hear about her process. Firstly a big thank you to Wilma and MobileArtistry for inviting me for this feature. My personal Instagram rule is iPhone only – so all images in my gallery are shot and edited using my 5s (native camera). I mostly enjoy taking and editing rural landscape, tree and sun shots. My daughter makes an occasional appearance in my gallery – she is not the most cooperative model and so the appearances usually occur after a lucky shot such as this one. The good photos usually happen when she is unaware I am taking a shot – ask her to smile for the camera and the result is a rather pained looking expression… This image was shot, edited and posted on our afternoon out together. I often edit out and about as excited to share a shot I am pleased with. I had visions of quite a dark end result for this one as soon as I saw it. I’m a big Mextures fan so most of my edits just use Mextures but I find when I want to desaturate an image Snapseed is my best bet initially. So I first took the image to Snapseed to dull down the colours. Then in to Mextures. I like to use a lot of the emulsion and grunge textures in my images and this one was no exception. I was however keen to keep the definition and sharpness of the window frame and my daughter so did have to go a bit easy on the textures. I was lucky enough to be provided by natural texture where it was needed through the reflections of the grass in the window. Sharing is caring so the Mextures formula for this image is SIXGAVJ Continued in the next comment...

The original image was cut just above my head, so I created an empty space above with Moldiv frames. Then with Facetune I cleared the background to uniform it and transferred the photo in iColorama. For the disintegrating effect, I used the brush to color and I created the effect using the base color of the image. Added white desintegrated effect to the background, just to create a texture. It is in the Mextures application that the finishing touch have been made. I tried several combinations of filters to finish with the following formula: STNWATI. The image was rectangular and did not wanted to crop the final image, so I went in Afterlight to adjust it to a square. And that was it !
